方向三:中东盟珊瑚礁区环境与生态系统演变

东盟国家是中国的友好邻邦,在面对海平面上升,极端气象事件频发的当下,中国和东盟各国均易受到气候变化的不利影响,是中国应对全球气候变化的重要合作伙伴。因此,结合中国红树林/滨海盐沼等蓝碳生态系统的研究,可尝试将我国的海洋碳汇核算体系应用于东盟国家的海洋生态系统中,对比总结不同区域实现碳汇最大化的经验和教训,结合海洋工程与技术,构建有效的海洋环境治理体系,实现海洋碳汇经济的共赢发展。


ASEAN countries are friendly neighbors of China, and in the face of rising sea levels and frequent extreme weather events, both China and ASEAN countries are vulnerable to the adverse effects of climate change. Therefore, combined with the research on blue carbon ecosystems such as mangrove/maritime salt marsh in China, we can try to apply China's marine carbon sink accounting system to the marine ecosystems of ASEAN countries, compare and summarize the experiences and lessons learned from different regions in maximizing carbon sinks, combine marine engineering and technology, build an effective marine environmental governance system, and realize the win-win development of marine carbon sink economy.
