Overall Introduction

研究院团队是国内最早开展海洋酸化、碳循环研究的队伍之一，瞄准海洋酸化与碳循环对全球气候变化影响的国际前沿科学问题，规划在极区（北冰洋和南大洋）、西北太平洋、中国近海（港口）及东南亚珊瑚礁三角区进行观测，开展二氧化碳源汇格局与海洋酸化过程与机制研究。同时，团队平均年龄36岁，有良好的人才梯度结构。该团队以研究海洋酸化和碳循环为核心和主线，具备多学科交叉的特色，内部研究方向和手段高度契合和互补。团队成员共29人，其中教授5人，副教授7人，讲师6人，博士研究生1人，硕士研究生10人。

The team of the Institute is one of the first teams to carry out ocean acidification and carbon cycle research in China. It aims at the international frontier scientific issues of ocean acidification and carbon cycle impact on global climate change, planning in the polar regions (Arctic Ocean and Southern Ocean), Northwest Pacific, China Conduct observations in offshore (ports) and coral reef triangles in Southeast Asia, and carry out research on carbon dioxide source and sink patterns and ocean acidification processes and mechanisms. At the same time, the average age of the team is 36 years old and has a good talent gradient structure. The team takes the research of ocean acidification and carbon cycle as the core and main line, has the characteristics of multi-disciplinary cross, and the internal research directions and methods are highly compatible and complementary. There are 29 team members, including 5 professors, 7 associate professors, 6 lecturers, 1 doctoral students and 10 master students.
