Outstanding achievements in scientific research

研究院在南北极、近岸和珊瑚礁区域的海洋酸化和碳中和领域取得突出成就，发表多篇研究文章于Science、Nature Climate Change、Geophysical Research Letters、Global Biogeochemical Cycles等国际顶级期刊。研究成果获得 “海洋工程与科学技术奖”一等奖、特等奖等多项省部级奖，入选 “中国十大海洋科技进展”，成果通过遴选代表我国近年科技成就入选在2019年中国驻美国使馆开放日参展活动，向美国公众宣传中国科技发展成就和中美合作成果（全国遴选40个国际合作项目，是海洋酸化与碳循环领域唯一入选项目），集中和代表了我国在极地海洋研究领域的顶尖实力。

The members from PMRI have made outstanding achievements in the field of ocean acidification and carbon neutralization in the North and South Polar Ocean, nearshore and coral reef areas. We have published articles in the toppest high-impacted journals such as Science, Nature Climate Change, Geophysical Research Letters and Global Biogeochemical Cycles. Our research achievements have been awarded the first prize and special prize of the "Ocean Engineering and Science and Technology Award" and many other provincial and ministerial awards, and selected as one of the "Top Ten Marine Science and Technology Advances in China" Exhibition activities to promote China's scientific and technological development achievements and Sino-US cooperation results to the American public (40 international cooperation projects were selected nationwide, the only project selected in the field of ocean acidification and carbon cycle), concentrating and representing the top strength of China in the field of polar marine research.
