Department of Environmental Engineering

Department of Environmental Engineering: Environmental engineering majors mainly study basic theories and basic knowledge of mathematics, physics, chemistry, life science engineering technology, environmental microbiology, environmental engineering principles, pollution control,etc.,and master the basic ability to analyze and solve environmental problems. The department is committed to cultivating advanced applied talents in environmental engineering.

The department was opened in 2002. After more than ten years of development and refinement, a professional talent training system has been formed, and good results have been achieved in teaching, scientific research, and talent training.The department has 12 teachers,including3 professors, 8 associate professors.Among them, there are 10 doctoral degree holders and 8 master supervisors. The department has experimental sites such as environmental monitoring laboratories, water treatment laboratories, comprehensive laboratories, and environmental chemistry research laboratories. The total value of teaching and scientific research equipment is about 6 million yuan. In addition, it has signed long-term internship base agreements with nearly 10 off-campus enterprises and institutions. The enrollment scale of environmental engineering majors is 2 classes per year, with a total of about 60 students. A large number of application-oriented professionals with engineering characteristics have been cultivated, and they play an important role in different jobs.
